I'm curious, how much does this DSIDX cost? Is it a one time fee? Can I use it on WordPress .com and .org? Can I program it to default show the few "lease" houses in a particular city?

The Broker/Agent website model is being redefined around a new content model. Local, user generated content, pictures, videos and narrative is more sought after.

The web traffic stats indicate that home buyers and sellers prefer to get their listing information from a non-broker/agent website, until very late in the buying process.

It has been difficult to measure the benefits from Agent IDX and VOW sites, and expenses hard to justify. This new era in agent generated content and commentary should prove to be more effective and engaging.

I don't think that the Agent website is dead, but rather that the 'static' agent website is dead.

Agents need full content management solutions for their website so they can differentiate themselves by offering consumers personalized insights about real estate that go beyond listing information itself.

Wordpress is a website now that it has integrated search. This was one of the major revelations of the inman conference in New York.

Our research on agent and broker sites shows that property search is the #1 activity of consumers on real estate websites - having it front and center is still a critical strategy.
