If I understand correctly .... Android and the iPhone OS accesses more internet content than the other mobile OSs. If this is the case, then any resistance to Firefox and open browsers is futile. Youtube's departure from Flash and move to H.264 encoding is more evidence that those that wish to ride Titanic or I mean Flash are in for a cold swim.

The toothpaste is out of the tube - time to move on.

Oh yeah, BTW Tempo is the worst system I am forced to use. Once our CARETS conversion is complete June 30th I will be free from that prehistoric system.

@Greg, reInsight is designed to fit a niche for which Paragon may not be suited. Paragon's going to be around for a long time and I'm glad it will be. However, trying to make it do things it was never designed for doesn't seem prudent. Changing MLS business models and technology needs mean we need to break old molds, not shoe-horn a customer into a system that works great for their neighbor, but not for them.

@Rob
I think P5 is great. The question is what is stopping P5 from being your solution going forward? Why do you need a Flash based product like REInsight?

Paragon 5 is not using Flash or any other proprietary technology to be cross-browser compliant. Straight HTML. We are using Flash for one UI option for the reInsight product. reInsight is a n-tier platform so we are building the interfaces that best meet user needs using technologies that make sense, be they Flash, HTML5 or even proprietary for a specific device.

Every user needs something a little bit different and no one can afford to pigeon-hole that user into one browser or operating system. We all need to keep pushing for more open systems.
