  1. The hype surrounding broker tech offerings reminds me of Microsoft’s past reputation for vaporware and bad rollouts.

    One example is REMAX’s MAX/Center, their new portal for all things REMAX.

    A friend of mine is non-techie REMAX agent, so I help him out with Implementing flyers etc in their design center. It was always kludgy to navigate with a less than pleasing UI.

    It’s even worse now and the UI still has that REMAX clumsiness to it. Trying to get to their design center was an exercise of seeming futility. I actually had to call tech support to have them navigate me through a series of UI hurdles to get to the design center. WOW! And then you get their and It’s still the same old clumsy desktop creation software from before. Sad.

    I hope this is an evolution of their Booj purchase and not the final result. Soooooo, beware the hype for all brokers.
