Where Real Estate Gets Its Dirt

The Greatest

prince and ali

RIP Muhammad Ali

  1. I met Ali when I was a teenager working summers as a bellhop at the Fontainebleau Hilton on Miami Beach. He lived there for a month and trained at the 5th Street Gym. One of his sparring partners was a fellow bellman, Levi Forte. Ali in person was nothing like his persona: he was humble, soft spoken and genuinely kind. I saw him shadow boxing one day in the lobby with a 5 year old; it was priceless. I have his autograph from1970 when my dad met him in Chicago where we lived at the time. In my mind, he will forever be the Greatest, now I God’s hands.
