Rob Overman needs our help

by Greg Robertson on July 30th, 2018

Rob Overman GoFundme Page

“Rob had a hemorrhagic stroke after an abnormal formation of blood vessels (arteriovenous malformation, or AVM, for those who like to google) ruptured. He suffered a massive brain bleed and was taken to surgery. The neurosurgeon was able to stop the bleeding, drain the blood, and remove the remaining abnormal vessels.

As a small business owner this medical set-back can be financially devastating for Rob and his family. Everyone who knows Rob loves Rob. He is kind, generous, funny, silly, brilliant, and dorky. He’s the first one to drop everything when someone needs help. Please do what you can to help him cover some of these costs and ease his recovery. Every little bit helps and he’d do it for you if you needed him.”

If you haven’t given, give. You have given, give more. Rob loves this industry, let’s show him we love him too.

Rob has been a good friend to many of us through the years and every little bit helps. It would also help if you would repost the Go Fund Me page on your social media to help spread the word.

Thank you so much for sharing, Greg. Rob does love the industry. And Rob loves the people in the industry. Nothing makes Rob happy quite like strutting around a lobby bar saying hello to all of us knuckleheads. Each and every one of us is important to him. He’d take hours out of his day to help someone understand something, to teach, to give.

Like Greg said, if you have it to give please give. Rob would help you…he probably has helped you. He’s been a very good friend to so many of us. <3

  3. That’s terrible Greg, thanks for letting us know. Rob’s a good guy. And good idea Rosemary.

  4. Rob has always been there for me. Thanks for the not Greg.

The donation sites states that it is no longer taking donations.

    Godspeed Rob. Heal quickly.

  6. @Michael I believe Kristen is trying to get the account transferred to Rob’s family. So it might stop accepting new donations until that process is complete.
