CMLS Update -Board of Directors for 2011 and more…

Few announcments about CMLS.  The new board of directors are ready for 2011, I’ve listed them at the end of the post.

The numbers are in and the 2010 CMLS conference, hosted by MRED, was CMLS’ most successful event ever.  Russ and team put up some big numbers in Chicago and Wes Wiggins now has a new bar to rise to.  Speaking of Wes; The CMLS 2011 Annual Conference will be held in Tucson, Ariz., October 5-7.

It’s great to see CMLS having so much success.  Other conferences have come and gone, but CMLS keeps going strong.  Great content, inclusion and the pride each sponsor puts in the event really set it apart.

I’ve been on the board of directors of CMLS for quite some time now but my term expires this year. It has been great to see the organization grow and expand its role.  I will still continue to be active with CMLS by helping promote and grow the CMLS website (www.councilofmls.com).

I’m also very excited to announce that Amy Geddes will be taking my place as the “Business Partner-Director”.  Amy is an excellent choice and I couldn’t be happier. She is great asset to the industry and I know she will help take CMLS even further.  Congrats Amy!
