What is an MLS?

I mentioned that one of my favorite panels at CMLS was moderated by Tracy Wier, Chief Marketing Officer at Inman News. CMLS had asked their members to take their video cameras to the streets and ask people questions like “What do you think of first when you think of MLS?” (My favorite is the first guy, “a disease.”)
